BENT
Bent, by Martin Sherman is about the persecution of homosexuals by Nazi Germans. The set featured a wall that backed the apartment scenes as well as when lit served as a train door, and later the fence of the encampment. There are few set pieces in the show and I felt it was necessary to use real materials, real rocks and wood, to visually ground the scene beyond the auditorium.
